Sona Sylve

Sona Sylve was Raised in New Orleans. She has been in the beauty industry for 18 years as her very first job was as a makeup rep at Kawalk Cosmetics. Now, Sona is the proud owner and CEO of Sona’s Charm LLC. She is an alumnus of  Edna Karr Highschool and before pursuing her dream as a beauty professional Sona received her Associate of Science in Accounting from Delgado Community College. After working for almost a decade in medical administration Sona decided to go to cosmetology school at Blue Cliff College. After 2 years of working full-time during the day and attending night classes full-time at Blue Cliff Sona received her cosmetology license. Since then, Sona has been in the business of making Her-story.

Sona’s Charm LLC has been expanding. In the past 7 years, Sona has been working hard to make her brand a household name through unlimited business opportunities. In the past Sona was a former Co-host Of Pink Passion Diva Ent radio show on We Honor Independent Voices (WHIV.org) 102.3fm, where she found her talent for journalism. She is currently an independent operator at Spice Diva’s Beauty Bar and co-host/ co-Creator of the Red Lip Talk Podcast on New Orleans Talk Network. She is a member of the Lousiana Beautician and Barber Association (LSBBA) and serves as Assistant Business Manager of Local #1 LSBBA. Some years ago Sona fell in love with Mary Kay products so it only made sense that she became a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant where she educates people on who cares for and applies skin care and makes products. She is also the owner of Charming Travels Travel Agency and an independent Wealth builder with Dream Makers Inc. 

Using Both her beauty skills and business education, Sona has gelled the two worlds and is using her entrepreneurial experience to encourage and teach other future entrepreneurs how to achieve their business goals.
